div class='d-none d-xl-flex'>[스포츠조선 최만식 기자] 스페인 축구협회장의 '강제키스' 사건이 사법당국의 정식 소송 절차를 받게 됐다.
2일(한국시각) 스페인 언론 등에 따르면 스페인 스포츠행정법원(TAD)은 이날 루이스 루비알레스 스페인축구협회 회장이 스페인 여자축구대표팀 선수인 에르모소에게 일방적으로 키스한 행위에 관련해 수사와 함께 소송 절차에 착수하기로 했다.
이에 루비알레스 회장은 여전히 '결백'을 증명하겠다고 반론하고 있는 것으로 알려졌다.

이른바 '강제키스' 사건은 지난달 호주에서 열린 여자월드컵 시상식에서 루비알레스 회장이 에르모소에게 기습적으로 입맞춤을 하면서 불거졌다. 당시 논란이 되자 비난이 일자 루비알레스 회장은 "나쁜 의도는 없었다, 실수였다"고 사과했다. 하지만 에르모소가 "키스에 동의한 적 없다"는 입장을 밝히고, 여성·시민단체 등을 중심으로 루비알레스 회장의 사퇴를 요구하는 반발과 시위가 확산됐다.
이런 가운데 루비알레스 회장이 "페미니스트들의 거짓된 공격"이라고 반발하면서 사태는 걷잡을 수 없이 커졌다.
국제축구연맹(FIFA)이 루비알레스 회장에게 90일 직무정지와 에르모소에 대한 접근 금지 명령을 내렸지만 루비알레스 회장은 이마저도 거부했다.

결국 스페인 검찰 당국이 나서 루비알레스 회장의 '강제키스' 사건이 '성폭행 죄에 해당될 가능성이 있다고 보고 예비수사를 시작했다. 이에 덧붙여 스포츠행정법원이 루비알레스 회장의 행위에 대해 사법 처리 절차에 들어가기로 한 것이다.
루비알레스 회장은 지난주 열린 협회 총회에서 자신에 대한 변호에 급급하면서 사임을 거부하는 내용의 연설을 하는 등 강하게 반발하고 있다. 스페인에서는 이 사건에 분노한 시민들의 시위가 계속 이어지고 있다.
