지난 11일 첫 선을 보인 '2.0 터보 GDi' 가솔린 모델에 이어 이번에 첨단 누우 2.0 LPi엔진(기존 쎄타 2.0 LPi엔진)과 6단 변속기(기존 5단 변속기)를 새로 탑재, 최고출력 157ps, 최대토크 20.0kg·m의 보다 강력한 동력성능과 연비를 실현한 '2012 K5 2.0 LPi'모델을 선보였다.

이 밖에도 연비개선을 위해 경제형 ISG(Idle Stop & Go)와 액티브 에코시스템을 장착했다. 또 안전성 향상을 위해 ▲차체자세제어장치(VDC)와 ▲언덕길 밀림 방지장치(HAC)를 적용했으며, 운전자의 편의를 고려해 렌터카 모델에는 정속주행장치인 ▲크루즈 컨트롤을 장착, 가솔린 모델에 못지 않는 높은 상품성을 확보했다.
'2012 K5'의 판매가격은 2.0 가솔린 모델이 2150만원~2730만원이다. 2.0 터보 GDi 모델이 2815만원~2945만원, 2.0 LPi 모델(영업용)이 렌터카, 택시, 장애인 등 차종에 따라 1520만원~2199만원이다. 전상희 기자 nowater@sportschosun.com
